What Modern Trade Buyers Need Before They Approve a Listing

Buyers clear space for brands that arrive with tidy data, realistic facings, and a plan for the first restock—not just a pitch deck.

Modern trade buyers in Thailand juggle crowded categories and tight planograms. A launch request that only celebrates the brand story rarely moves the calendar. What helps is a complete listing pack: barcodes, case packs, recommended facings, and a clear reason the SKU belongs in that bay.

Bring a realistic first-order quantity and a restock path. Buyers remember brands that cause out-of-stocks in week two more than brands with beautiful launch photos.

If your distributor and key accounts are not aligned on the same listing week, say so early. Transparent timelines build more trust than optimistic dates that slip after materials are already printed.
